The major market trend: recycle & reuse

Garden hoses and profiles were the first products we manufactured. To this day, these systems are among our core competencies in the area of Polymer Fluid Solutions and Profile Solutions, and they symbolise what our customers and partners value in us: reliability, flexibility and an innovative spirit.

Now, we’re putting all our experience under the ‘green star’. because the path to a circular economy is the only answer to climate change and resource scarcity. Repair, re-use and recycling are important building blocks for achieving this.

Sustainable, functional and robust profile and panel systems

We are one of the first suppliers on the market to produce an almost completely recyclable system made from glass-fibre-reinforced PET profiles and composite sandwich panels.

And we do so without having to compromise on design, weight and function. The systems continue to be highly functional and can be reworked in a variety of ways.

The recycled garden hose

Additional crude oil is always required in the production of polymers. But we can and will change this! Our aim is to continuously increase the use of post-industrial recyclates and reduce CO₂ emissions.

That is why we have developed a sustainable garden hose that is true to its name.

The forever chemicals PFAS are found in many everyday products and a lot of packaging. Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) are extremely durable and repellent to water and grease, which is why they are so widely used. Some PFAS have been proven to be hazardous to health.

But here’s the good news: the affected products can be replaced with innovative silicone formulations.

With new hybrid hoses for the food sector, we have developed PFAS-free products! The silicone hoses are highly flexible, able to withstand high pressure requirements, and in no way inferior to today’s solutions.
